Then come back and post a link to the contribution with Mr. Linky.
As always, there's no hard-and-fast rule that you have to post on Wednesday.
But I invite everyone to check back often to read and comment on other contributions. This is, after all, a community for writers who clamor for feedback.
This week, something a little different. I give you three slang words, along with their meanings. I know this might be rough on the poets, but if you've never tried prose, this could be your chance to change things up:
conniption; noun: a bad tantrum. One has a conniption or conniption fit.
janky; adjective: broken or functioning poorly or improperly; messed up.
scooch; verb: to move over, or to scoot.

The Pandora's box story..hope you like it
It seems wonderful to be the early bird in 3WW after long.
My take on falling standards on India's republic day.

BLAST! No character in this story can say those words without ruining the tension. Looks like the Omega series will have to take a break this week.
This is either the finest limerick I've ever done with a Three Words, or the worst.
Thom - be warned. I mention you specifically in the poem.
Interesting words Challenging too. Thanks for the opportunity again.
HA! Nothing can stop me from writing poetry! These are MERE words!

Challenging, to say the least. Janky? Really??
Not Forgotten. I'll come back when Mr. Linky is up.
I'm feelin' janky today, hehe
At first I thought it was "Jinkies" like Velma always says in Scooby Doo. That's a new word for me.
And yes, today there's a blizzard, and I'm at work still.
I was angry when I sat to write. I am glad I wrote...
My 3WW
postin here 4 d 1st time :D
Wow, really tough words today. But I managed to make it. Lucky number 13 on Taking Liberty today!
Scooch over, moon - a flash love story.
Unfamiliar words. It took me a long time to figure out a way to use them.
Fun. First story with no fantasy in a long time. :) Thanks!
I was having problems with this one but I got through it :)
Tough week this week. At least I got something written before Wednesday faded away.

Challenging words this week :) But I got through :)
I wish I had more time to tarry. I am fresh back to work and am buried under production pressure, putting the design package together to install a new laminator to lay down dough for the Nabisco Premium baking line.
My Wednesday was filled with grandson fun. This one waited until today!
I was so blank yesterday, had to write during lunch at work today, then come home and post it. By the way the word scooch threw me off because it happens to be our sons nickname. Nice challenge.
Just a little something about my baby

very late but better than never. :)
A piece of flash fiction instead of poetry. It's been awhile.
First time posting here--pretty shy about putting my thoughts out for public reading. I'm a lazy writer, so I appreciate the weekly prompts. I read many of the offerings this week, and everyone did fine work on such a tricky prompt!
Peace, Nico
I knew exactly what to write about when read the words.
a nice sync.:)
