3WW CCXXXII

Each week, I post three words. You write something using the words.
Then come back and post a link to the contribution with Mr. Linky (but please, link to the exact post, not your blog). As always, there's no hard-and-fast rule that you have to post on Wednesday.

But I invite everyone to check back often to read and comment on other contributions. This is, after all, a community for writers who clamor for feedback.

(With that said, I'm having interweb problems and will visit as I have appropriate bandwith.)

This week's words:

Breeze; noun: A light current of air; a gentle wind; something, such as a task, that is easy to do.

Mellow; adjective: Soft, sweet, juicy, and full-flavored because of ripeness; having the gentleness, wisdom, or tolerance often characteristic of maturity.

Tickle; verb: To touch (the body) lightly so as to cause laughter or twitching movements; to feel or cause a tingling sensation.

Thank you for this opportunity. Although my first attempt was a love poem, in light of the situation in Japan, I wrote a poem more in keeping with the current events!

I'm continuing the Joe Magpie series 'Tales from Nether Afton'.
Invented 34 years ago, they have been told to my sons, and Joe has become a 'part of the family'.'
Never published in any form before, I hope someone out there likes them.

Write mellow haiku ---
feels not like a breeze today,
but ticklish challenge.

So I wrote a Limerick Ode To St. Patrick's Day instead. :)
