3WW CCLXX

Welcome to 3WW, a writer's prompt for people in the know (and if they don't, share - and share often).

Each week, I post three words.

This is how I pick the three words:

Each week, I come across words, which I place in a Word document. Come Tuesday night, I look at the list, move words around, and somehow, three words come into focus that just sound right together.

Those three words get placed in a scheduled post and I go to bed. I don’t think about them until I get up and check to see that Blogger updated itself (anywhere between 2 and 6 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time). That way, I have no unfair advantage over the rest of the writers (even though I've been so busy with work that' I've not written anything for months).

You write something using the words.

Then come back and post a link to the contribution with Mr. Linky (but please, link to the exact post, not your blog, by clicking on the exact post title and paste it to Mr. Linky below). As  always, there's no hard-and-fast rule that you have to post on Wednesday.

But I invite everyone to check back often to read and  comment on other contributions. This is, after all, a community for writers who clamor for feedback.

This week's words:

Generous; adjective: (Of a person) showing a readiness to give more of something, as money or time, than is strictly necessary or expected; showing kindness toward others; (of a thing) larger or more plentiful than is usual or necessary.

Just; adjective: Based on or behaving according to what is morally right and fair; (of treatment) deserved or appropriate in the circumstances; adverb: Exactly; exactly or almost exactly at this or that moment.

Penalize; verb: subject to some form of punishment; (in various sports) punish (a player or team) for a breach of the rules by awarding an advantage to the opposition; put in an unfavorable position or at an unfair disadvantage; law make or declare (an act or offense) legally punishable.

Nothing profound this week - just a penis joke.

Sorry no penis joke in mine! Well how can I compete with that Tony! Hehe ;)

Don't know what it was about those words, but after a very long absence, I'm back to try my hand at 3WW again. They were tough, though. Mine's clocking in at 700 words, just fyi for those who prefer something micro-short and wanting to pass on longer stuff.

My Godly Pursuits. No humor. No blood. No penises (leave that to Tony). Just a bit of a dilemma.

There was a guy called Thom G
Who disappeared up a tree
They searched the leaves and branches
Finding a troupe of pole dancers
What was he doing up there?
We want to know cos we care
