Each week, I post three words. You write something using the words.
Then come back and post a link to the contribution with Mr. Linky (but please, link to the exact post, not your blog, by clicking on the exact post title and paste it to Mr. Linky below). As always, there's no hard-and-fast rule that you have to post on Wednesday.
But I invite everyone to check back often to read and comment on other contributions. This is, after all, a community for writers who clamor for feedback.
(If you'll notice, the 3WW number is a bit different. I have a master list that Bone gave me when I took over 3WW; I finally divided it by 3, giving me the correct number of 3WW prompt weeks - 298.)
This week's words:
Brisk;
adjective: active, fast, and energetic; (of the weather or wind) cold but fresh
and enlivening; sharp or abrupt.
Detached; verb: Disengage (something or part of
something) and remove it; leave or separate oneself from (a group or place); avoid
or put an end to any connection or association with.
Miserable;
adjective: (Of a person) wretchedly unhappy or uncomfortable; (of a person)
habitually morose; pitiably small or inadequate.

My limerick this week isn't funny at all. Go figure.

These Wednesdays seem to come around soooo quickly!
Glad to be here this week!
Hope it's okay that the words from the prompt are not in my poem itself but in brief note after... :/
negative words made positive. Thank you! x
Negative words used in compassion for a young woman's plight. Thanks so much, Amy
I'm a week late, but here's what I came up with: Time to hibernate? Thanks for the prompt!
