3WW Week No. 400

As you well know, each week I post three words (for 400 weeks now - or more than 71/2 years and 1,200 words).

You write something using the words.

Then come back and post a link to the contribution with Mr. Linky (but please, link to the exact post, not your blog, by clicking on the exact post title and paste it to Mr. Linky below). As always, there's no hard-and-fast rule that you have to post on Wednesday.

(And if you want a hint as to when I post three new words, follow me on Twitter @tgabrukiewicz.)

I do invite everyone to check back often to read and comment on other contributions. This is, after all, a community for writers, poets and bloggers who clamor for your feedback. Share with friends. Tweet the love. Let us build this community.

Devastate, verb: Destroy or ruin (something; cause (someone) severe and overwhelming shock or grief.

Gossamer, noun: A fine, filmy substance consisting of cobwebs spun by small spiders, which is seen especially in autumn; used to refer to something very light, thin, and insubstantial or delicate.

Plummet, verb: fall or drop straight down at high speed; decrease rapidly in value or amount.

Thom, thank you. I am sure this is a routine thing and has been for a long long time. I remember you asking if you might step down some time ago and we said... No, No, No, please. I am grateful you chose to continue. It has to end sometime... Maybe 25 years. LOL.

I've visited Three Word Wednesday before, but this is my first time participating. Thank you for dutifully conjuring up three words to inspire us!
