3WW Week No. 533

As you well know, each week I post three words. You write something using the words.

Then come back and post a link to the contribution with Mr. Linky (but please, link to the exact post, not your blog, by clicking on the exact post title and paste it to Mr. Linky below). As always, there's no hard-and-fast rule that you have to post on Wednesday.

Flinch, verb: wince, start, shudder, quiver, jerk, shy, shrink from, recoil from, shy away from, swerve from, demur from; dodge, evade, avoid, duck, balk at, jib at, quail at, fight shy of.

Gape, verb: stare, stare open-mouthed, stare in wonder, goggle, gaze, ogle; informal rubberneck, gawk, open wide, open up, yawn; part, split.

Hastily, adverb: quickly, hurriedly, fast, swiftly, rapidly, speedily, briskly, without delay, posthaste; with all speed, as fast as possible, at breakneck speed, at a run, on the double, pretty damn quick, PDQ, like lightning, like greased lightning, like the wind, like a bat out of hell, lickety-split. hurriedly, speedily, quickly; on the spur of the moment, premature.
